"Girls United 4 Health Rights Association CONGO is committed to work towards the women’s
empowerment and to end health rights violation of female human beings to raise them to a grade
where they can deliberately and impartially adore their health, rights and development
irrespective of their backgrounds.
A world in which every women and girl attains the rights to survival, protection, development and participation through respect of their reproductive health rights and improved living conditions free from abuse and Gender Based Violence.
To develop safer communities free from Abuse and Gender Based Violence by empowering women with information on HIV/AIDs Prevention, Maternal Health Promotion through promoting Family Planning, sexual reproductive health and Rights (SRHRs), sexual and gender-based violence prevention, and also to provide women with tools and resources in the areas of prevention, education, advocacy and support regarding sexual and domestic violence.
We believe in the African Society where every woman and girl should enjoy full health rights protection and economic development prospects. Girls United For Health Rights Association CONGO plays an important role in advocacy and lobbying for sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) promotion, Gender Based Prevention and We are called to:
Prevent and Respond to gender-based violence through Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights’ education and information, with particular emphasis on advocating women’s rights in all over the country and to understand the different vulnerabilities and risks factors faced by Congolese women and girls and take practical measures to mitigate, prevent and respond to violence against women and girls. We work to build respect for the rights of women and young girls to live free of violence and the threat of violence.

Our STRATEGIES:
We are a Gender Working Group which advocates for local, provincial, national government officials to integrate and budget for engaging men in SRHR promotion and Women and girls’ well-being policies and programs through the following approaches:
Gender exploitative:
Our Programs reinforce or take advantage of gender inequalities and stereotypes.
Gender accommodating:
Programs that work around existing gender differences and inequalities.
